The Aigrette (Egret) is a tribute to another bird, one that serves as an integral part to the Louisiana backdrop. Among the brackish swamp waters of the bayou, you are almost sure to see the long-legged aigrette either perched among the cypress trees or gliding across the water in search of food. Unlike her cousin (koo-zahn in Cajun French), the heron, she looks elegantly plain in her white plumage.
This pipe, like the aigrette, is beautiful in its simplicity. Long and sleek like the legs of its namesake and fitted with the coiling, smoke-diffusing Gros Chu Chut, the Aigrette provides a smooth, deep smoke.
